Brechin City FC is delighted to confirm that the Club have accepted an invitation, as Highland League runners-up, to participate in next season’s Premier Sports Cup.

With five SPFL clubs again taking part in UEFA competitions next season, the group stage draw for the competition will involve the remaining 37 SPFL clubs from season 2023/24 and three further clubs invited to join the tournament.

Brechin City, alongside fellow Highland League side Buckie Thistle and Lowland League winners East Kilbride have been invited to participate.

The draw for the group stage of the competition will take place on Wednesday 29th May at 1:00pm. The draw will be broadcast live by Premier Sports and the SPFL.

The opening matches of the group stage will take place on the weekend of 13/14th July 2024.
